TUM Senior Excellence Faculty

Since 2006, TU München has been awarding outstanding scientists after their retirenment with the honorary title of TUM Emerita respectively Emeritus of Excellence and keeping them involved in important tasks of the university. As members of the TUM Senior Excellence Faculty, the Emeriti of Excellence make a valuable contribution to the TUM in genereal and to its strategic development, due to their many years of experience in science and research, national and international networks, as well as with personal independence and high reputation.
